The Prince, the dragon and King’s Landing

Prague is without a doubt one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, its buildings and history make for an amazing backdrop for a fashion shoot. I was so lucky to be in the city for the weekend and it was possible to set up this shoot the morning before my flight.

The idea of the shoot came by looking at pictures and reading about Prague, I had been working on a Dragon scale Sweatshirt for a while and it was clearly that it was the perfect piece for a shoot in Prague.

Our amazing model Martin Butor from the southern region of Moravia brought a galant appeal that ties down the modernity and the medieval ideas surrounding this editorial.

We were fascinated by the fairytale setting, it was mix of medieval buildings and lush floral details put up for spring, it was King’s Landing and Martin became an ancient ruler of the Targaryen dynasty in every frame.

This is part 1 of a series of three Editorials, and we wanted to start with a bang, the inspiration both for the clothes and the shoot were the ancient Targaryens of King’s Landing. A sweatshirt handsewn to look like a sporty version of dragon scale armor for our brand the Nordic Outpost.

A very special thanks to Jaro Management for setting up our shoot with Martin and the collaboration, our next editorial will be shot in Spain so check back later this spring.
